There is much conflict in our relationships. If there is not outward conflict then there is usually conflict within ourselves. We are conflicted in our relationships because we are conflicted in ourselves. Nevertheless, they are still the most meaningful and powerful learning experience we tend to have in life. To follow the search for personal love is unsatisfactory, yet, to reject the search is more unsatisfactory. The quest for love is not wrong. However, where we are searching and who we are putting in command of the search party are flawed.
