Mercy is defined as: not receiving the judgment or punishment one deserves. The Bible declares that man is a sinner, deserving God's wrath. However, God forgives all those who repent and place their faith in Jesus Christ, His Son. Through God's mercy, people can escape the punishment they deserve.
