The truth is that the things that most likely drive people apart are those which are most obvious. The most common causes for a divorce a deeply psychological are so obvious that the majority of people simply ignore them. Whether they choose to overlook them out of sheer stubbornness or out of their inability to admit their mistakes, people are willing to throw away their marriage for some pretend-principles that they don't even truly stand for.
