Should Prospective Bridegrooms Be Subjected to Virility Tests to Ensure Marital Success? An Answer

'Marriages are made in Heaven' the famous axiom goes like this. But it seems that some marriages are made in hell. That is why several marriages end in total flop. Especially in India, nowadays failed marriages are in the increase. The phrase 'conjugal fidelity' has lost its significance. Extra marital affairs and polygamy (which is illegal in India) have become quite common. No doubt, there is the practice of comparing and tallying horoscopes of prospective couples and by suitably interpreting the position of nine planets in both the horoscopes, the 'agreements' are analysed. Out of ten aspects at least eight should tally. Only after such tallying, elders will give consent for the marriage. But lo! Even in cases where all the ten aspects tallied, marriages fail for various reasons like intolerance, suspicions, domestic violence, financial disputes, ego etc. But one very important aspect which parents fail to verify is, about the 'masculinity' of the bridegroom. A simple medical test will remove hundreds of problems especially for the girl. The following story, partly based on a real life incident which happened sometime in early seventies of twentieth century will thoroughly explain the above aspect.
